A ‘MASTERCHEF’ FINALIST IS OPENING A POP-UP RESTAURANT IN AUSTIN

A new pop-up restaurant led by a Masterchef contestant is opening in downtown Austin this month. Chef Kennedy Grace will run Nosh within cocktail lounge This Too Shall Pass at 208 West Fourth Street, Suite D starting on Wednesday, May 15.

The pop-up restaurant will feature a monthly-changing menu with New American dishes by Grace. These includes items like a take of chili cheese hot dogs in ravioli form; her signature elk tenderloin with carrots, blueberry compote, and parsnip puree; charcuterie boards, and tres leches. For happy hour, there are charcuterie boards such a butter one or oyster flights. Scope out the menus below. There will also be a tasting menu option dubbed the Chef’s Table Experience: Trust the Madness. Host site This Too will serve cocktails.

Nosh is positioned as a pop-up restaurant, but there is no end date as of yet. Reservations can be booked online. Its hours are from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Grace grew up in Denver, where she was worked festivals. She was on Masterchef’s 13th season in 2023, where she ended up being a finalist in the last episode, but ultimately lost.

Grace moved to Austin last fall and had been looking to open a restaurant, which is when she got connected with the team behind This Too Shall Pass

Both Nosh and This Too Shall Pass are run by the Method Three Hospitality group, which also operates event space the Venue, Irish bar the Pub, and the Cedar Street Courtyard. This Too opened in February.
