Bucket Listers combines ‘Family Guy’ and mini golf on Washington Avenue

Bucket Listers has transformed a section of Houston into Quahog, Rhode Island, also known as the fictional hometown of the famed Griffin family in the Emmy-winning show, ‘Family Guy.’ The company brought the “Family Guy Experience” to Houston in April, and through the summer, the interactive experience includes ‘Family Guy’ memorabilia, themed mini golf stands, and show merchandise available for purchase. The company also recreated the iconic “Drunken Clam Bar,” which includes a depiction of Peter Griffin’s “Eat My Junk” food menu. Expect quirky items like panini car sandwiches, hamburgers and jelly donut combos, Lois’ homemade cookies, and hot dog straws, as well as themed cocktails.

“It’s good, it’s fun, and it’s hilarious,” Derek Berry told Eater Houston. “You don’t even have to be a fan of Family Guy to enjoy it — it’s really a fun experience for everyone.”

The immersive experience is located at 8200 Washington Avenue, Houston TX 77007, and will remain in Houston until June 21. Tickets start at $18 and are available online.
