A Boy Blue double-header

On Friday, April 19, Boy Blue will serve pizza, salad, and more in Echo Park. The next day, April 20, the pop-up will be headed to Jurassic Magic to do it all over again for lunch service from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Multiple locations.

Largwa at Bé Ù

Largwa is headed back to Bé Ù on April 20 and 21 to offer boxes of cookies. This weekend’s set comes with brown butter almond cookies, blueberry jam cookies, chocolate brownies, and vanilla madeleines. The box is available for pre-order through Hot Plate. 557 N. Sip & Bloom at Suá Superette

In collaboration with Asian American Girl Club, Suá Superette is hosting an educational tea ceremony on Sunday, April 21. The ceremony will led by Tomoko Imade Dyen, a Japanese culinary curator, who will also provide bites to pair. Tickets are available through Partiful for the afternoon and evening sessions. 144 N. Beverly Soon Tofu at Intercrew

Beloved soondubu restaurant Beverly Soon Tofu is coming back to life for a night at Koreatown’s Intercrew on Tuesday, April 23. Chef Johnny Tran of Intercrew and chef Monica Lee of Beverly Soon Tofu will collaborate on a seven-course menu priced at $100 per person. House of Suntory whisky dinner

The Beverly Hills Hotel is hosting a special whisky dinner with the House of Suntory on April 25. Dishes like truffled mini grilled cheese, duck confit, and branzino fillet will be paired with whisky from the Suntory collection. Look forward to pours of Hakushu 12, Yamazaki 18, and, for dessert, Hibiki 21. Chef Debbie Lee’s Korean fried chicken restaurant, Yi Cha, is popping up at the former Bar Moruno space in Silver Lake on Friday nights in advance of its opening in its permanent Highland Park spot this summer. Dai Pie Dong

Banh Mi Thao

Vegan banh mi pop-up, Banh Mi Thao, has shared its April schedule. Starting the 20th, Banh Mi Thao will be popping up all across town in Los Feliz, Lincoln Heights, Costa Mesa, and Long Beach. Rotating locations.

Hamburgers Nice

For burgers in Long Beach, head to the weekly Hamburgers Nice pop-up at the neighborhood cafe and bar, Good Time. On Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. the pop-up serves burgers and fries that pair perfectly with a glass of wine. Yellow Paper Burger

Keep an eye on the Instagram of this ongoing smash burger pop-up to find the latest location to score one of its cheeseburgers. In addition to the classic burger options, Yellow Paper also serves grilled cheese, a hand pie, a pickled egg with chips, and more. Rotating locations.

Churros El Bochito
